ShareApp ("we", "our", "us") provides a desktop application and web service for capturing, editing, and sharing screenshots, videos, and GIFs. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our services.

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, name (optional), and authentication credentials. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email and display name from those providers.

Uploaded Content: Screenshots, videos, and GIF files you upload to our servers. These are stored to provide the sharing functionality and are accessible via unique share links.

Usage Data: We collect basic usage metrics such as upload counts, view counts on shared links, and feature usage to improve our service.

Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by third-party providers (Lemon Squeezy, Apple App Store). We do not store credit card numbers. We store transaction identifiers and subscription status to manage your plan.

4. Third-Party Services

• Lemon Squeezy: For payment processing on the web
• Apple App Store: For in-app purchases on macOS

5. Data Retention

Free plan uploads: Automatically deleted after 30 days.

Paid plan uploads: Retained as long as your subscription is active.

Account data: Retained until you delete your account. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us.

BYOS (Bring Your Own Storage): When you use your own storage provider, we only store metadata (filename, share link, view count). The actual files remain on your storage and are not hosted by us.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure password hashing (bcrypt), and encrypted storage of sensitive credentials. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

You have the right to:

8. Children's Privacy
