ShareApp
Capture your screen, mark it up, record video or a GIF — then keep the file on your own machine or send it straight to storage you control.
One-time purchase. No subscription, no recurring charges, no account to create.
What it does
- Region & full-screen capture Grab a selected area or a whole display with a global keyboard shortcut.
- Built-in editor Annotate, crop and mark up a capture right after you take it.
- Video recording Record the screen to MP4 or WebM, with optional microphone audio.
- GIF recording Turn a short screen recording into an animated GIF.
- Save where you want Local disk, or your own FTP/FTPS server, Dropbox, Google Drive or Amazon S3 (and S3-compatible endpoints).
- Your storage, your rules There is no ShareApp cloud. Uploads go from your machine directly to the account you configured.
Buying it
ShareApp is sold as a one-time purchase in two places: the Mac App Store, and a signed DMG bought through an external checkout provider on this site. Either way you pay once for the app — there is no subscription, no free tier to upgrade from, and nothing to renew.
Mac App Store purchases are handled by Apple. DMG purchases are handled by the external checkout provider — the developer never sees your card details.
Privacy, briefly
The developer runs no servers and collects nothing about you. Captures stay on your computer unless you configure remote storage yourself. See the Privacy Policy for the details, including the only network connections the app makes.
